I love taking something neglected and giving it a second life in a way that’s modest, realistic, grounded in the numbers, but still has character.
I keep my projects local and work with reliable trades. I plan carefully, communicate openly, and keep lenders informed at every step. I only take on projects where the numbers make sense from day one. about me
I am a graphic designer based in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up here, but I’ve in lived Washington, Arizona, and South Carolina. I even spent two summers in Alaska, one of them in a tent. I’ve traveled to 14 countries, run a marathon, jumped out of an airplane, rappelled down a cliff, and biked across the entire state of Iowa. I bring that same curiosity, grit, and willingness to take on a challenge into my work today.
I hold a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Communication Design and spent nearly a decade teaching at the college level. Three years ago, I returned to Cleveland and bought a 1956 bungalow that I share with my mini Goldendoodle, Robie Grace.
I currently work for the City of Cleveland in the Office of Urban Analytics and Innovation, where I support high visibility, resident facing services and help raise the standard for how the City communicates visually. This work has given me a front row seat to the housing challenges facing families across the region. I want to pair this with my passion for design that not only generates solid returns, but gives more Cleveland area families a fair shot at homeownership.
